Understanding and mitigating large-scale viral outbreaks is one of the most pressing global challenges of our time. PandA brings together virologists and experts in X-ray, neutron, and complementary techniques to explore viral structures, interactions, and dynamics.
By strengthening collaboration across disciplines and research infrastructures, the theme aims to increase awareness and accessibility of large-scale X-ray and neutron facilities among virologists – an important step toward faster and more effective pandemic response.
