LP3 provides recombinant protein production using the BEVS as a part of the national distributed research infrastructure Protein Production Sweden (PPS, see external homepage)  Through PPS, Swedish researchers can also access five other expression systems to produce recombinant proteins: E. coli, P. pastoris, Mammalian cells, Plant cells and in vitro by cell free synthesis.
