The new protein production platform will start in the beginning 2022 and is a co-operation between five Swedish universities.

A new nationally distributed infrastructure - Protein Production Sweden or Proteinproduktion Sverige (PPS) in Swedish, will start up in the beginning of 2022. This is made possible thanks to a five-year-grant (until 2026) from the Swedish Research Council. Together, five universities offer expertise in different techniques for protein production. Researchers will be given access to all competence via a joint hub and will also have the possibility to get support based on their research needs.
